The boilers are really doing their job! The house has never been so warm and confortable. Absolutely no concerns at this time. The heat cost certainly appears to be down. Last month was $475.00 actual usage. We have always been on equal monthly installments of $650. Also we are in the middle of major house renovations - windows have been removed, doors left open, etc. At this time, I expect the gas cost in the summer to be very low.

Hi Shell, I have been a radio listener for many years.  I am no longer working and have time to tackle some projects.  One not anticipated happened just before Christmas, with the replacement of my furnace.  Many friends advised me to just replace the motor and keep using the Airco, but I decided to check out a more efficient furnace.  That led me to Pacific Gas and Brian.  When I called him he immediately came over to check things out and quickly installed a used motor to tide me through the Christmas season.  He even stopped in Christmas day so see how my elderly Mom and I were doing.  It wasn’t until after we talked for some time that I realized he was on your referral network.  Brian had also come recommended by a close friend.  So I had two trusted sources.  He carefully explained all the kinds of furnaces available, the ones he would recommend and why, and I didn’t feel there was any pressure.  He was just a nice guy.  I decided on a High Efficiency Amana with a fancy thermostat that can do things I never dreamed of and have been very comfortable since its installation.  I am looking forward to the rebates which were explained to me and then the arrangements taken care of by his office (Rania).  I plan on staying in this home so I feel it was a good investment.  If I do move it will be definitely be a good selling feature as we all become more aware of saving the environment for the future.  At this point might I recommend viewing the DVD “AN INCONVENIENT TRUTH”.

I have undertaken the restoration of the top of some of my Vilas maple furniture.  I know about the use of Bri Wax and OOOO steel wool.  But in your book I cannot fine reference to how to fill surface chips where the hard finish is completely gone, or the best source of these materials.  The steel wool removes surface scratches well, but doesn’t work for ones through to the wood beneath the finish.  Could you suggest something I could use for this?

We just had to write to you and your staff to say thank you so much for your professional and friendly manner while installing our new high efficiency furnace. You definitely have a lot of knowledge in this field, and we really liked how you explained things so we were able to understand them.

When we had our first meeting to talk about a furnace you told us with such confidence how much we would save. You said we would cut our heating bill in half very easily. I have to admit that I was very skeptical on whether a new furnace would make such a difference.

Well, now I have to let you know that it feels like we are living in a new home. I can go downstairs and not be cold. Since we have a new furnace I have not needed to turn on my gas fireplace downstairs. Before I hardly ever used the downstairs in the winter because it was way too cold. Now, it is the same temperature as the upstairs. I have never had that before. It really feels like our home is much bigger now because we use all the space in it now. When we received our first gas bill after having the furnace installed it was way lower than the previous month, even thought the previous month was warmer. Our bill is half as much as it used to be.

Our only regret is that we didn’t do this before. We can not believe the change of climate within the home. We would gladly and highly recommend your company to anybody thinking of upgrading their furnace. We also appreciate you telling us of all the rebates we could apply for. Your website was very easy to get around to find the links we needed to start applying for rebates.
